In the telecommunications industry, maintaining secure and efficient communication networks is critical as the demand for reliable data transmission continues to escalate. This paper explores how containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes can significantly enhance the security and management of telecom networks. Docker facilitates the creation of isolated, consistent application environments, while Kubernetes provides robust orchestration for automated deployment and scaling across diverse infrastructures. These technologies enable telecom operators to improve network isolation, streamline patch management, and integrate security directly into the development lifecycle, optimizing for both resilience and rapid response to threats. Additionally, the scalability and flexibility offered by Kubernetes allow for dynamic resource allocation and efficient handling of peak network loads. Through virtualized network functions, seamless 5G network management, and robust IoT device integration, containerization stands as a transformative approach to modernizing telecom infrastructure. This paper underscores the strategic advantages and potential challenges of adopting containerized solutions, guiding telecom providers towards a more secure, agile, and future-ready network architecture.
